An event for undergraduate and graduate students seeking internships. Employers attending this event will be seeking ISU students to fill 2009 Spring or Summer internships. Please check the above link to view a list of attending employers, to view the types of majors preferred, and to view the internship positions the recruiters are seeking to fill. Even if your major is NOT noted, feel free to discuss internship possibilities with the recruiters from companies/organizations of interest to you.
Employers attending the 2008 Fall Job and Internship Fair (see details below) at Redbird Arena will primarily be seeking candidates to fill 2009 full-time openings, however, some will also have internships available. All students seeking internships have TWO opportunities to meet with employers interested in ISU candidates: 2008 Fall Internship Fair and the 2008 Fall Job & Internship Fair.
Take advantage of the Career Week programs (details to come) to learn ways to establish a leading edge over your competition in the job search market.
Bring plenty of resumes and dress professionally for this Fair -- first impressions do count! Reminder that current students should bring their IDs to speed registration at the door.
Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Redbird Arena
Recruiters will represent Fortune 500 companies, smaller and mid-sized businesses, local and state government agencies, social service agencies, and graduate/ professional schools. All or most of the employers will be seeking candidates to fill full-time openings expected for 2009. Some employers will also be seeking to fill internship position. Refer to the above link to view a llist of the attending employers and the positions they are seeking to fill (jobs and internships).
All students (freshmen to seniors, plus graduate students) and alumni are welcome to attend this annual Fair! Even if your major is not mentioned in the list of preferred majors, proactively discuss professional opportunities/ possibilities with the recruiters. Find out the range and variety of majors they typically hire.

Be aware that some employers will be scheduling "Late Night Interviews" during the Fair and will conduct them in the Career Center (185 SSB) starting at 3:30 p.m.

Ultimate Money Skills is a FREE interactive program addressing the financial questions and concerns that college students encounter as they start out on their own. The objective of this program is to help students develop valuable financial management skills for life.

The Nursing and Health Professions Job Fair provides students with opportunities to meet employers (such as hospitals, healthcare providers, and non-profit organizations) who are offering externship/internship and full-time employment opportunities within the healthcare industry.
Students from all majors are welcome! Bring plenty of resumes and come professionally dressed. Reminder that current students should bring their IDs to speed registration at the door. Alumni are also welcome to attend this Fair!
Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Bone Student Center - Brown Ballroom
This event features local, state and national school districts who are seeking qualified candidates for teaching, administrative, and support services positions, as well as related agencies who are seeking to fill non-teaching positions. This is a particularly good event for seniors graduating in December 2008 or May 2009 to attend. However, all education majors (freshmen – seniors, graduate students) and alumni are welcome to attend this fair! Come prepared with a supply of resumes and dress professionally. Some districts will conduct interviews during the event. Reminder that current students should bring their IDs to speed registration at the door. NOTE - students and alumni from other universities are welcome to participate in this event.
