The Bureau of Labor Statistics is an excellent resource that you can use to find out information about careers as they exist in the "real world." Click on A-Z Index and enter an occupation that interests you. You will be provided by information such as the nature of the work, working conditions, job outlook, and earnings.

 

Mapping Your Future

Mapping Your Future provides information on planning your career. The site gives a sample career plan, an assessment of your skills and interests, and provides a 10-step guide to planning your future.
