Student & Alumni Responsibilities
Student Expectations of Career Center Staff

The Career Center Student Advisory Board includes 10-12 student members. Students were nominated based on recommendations from a dean, chairperson, director, faculty member, or other professional staff member on campus. These students assist us in providing insight on existing Career Center programs and developing ideas for new programs and increasing awareness of career-related resources and events. The Student Advisory Board members may range from freshmen to graduate students, and it is open to all majors. We greatly appreciate their feedback and look forward to developing additional opportunities for students to participate in this capacity.
This past spring, several members of the Student Advisory Board provided feedback for improvement to the Career Center on various areas such as fairs and programs, mock interviews, and marketing and advertising at the spring 2008 meeting. We are grateful for their participation and recommendations.
