Internships/Professional Practice

Illinois State students are in demand! Many of our students find employment with companies in which they have participated in a professional practice opportunity. It is a goal of the Career Center to assist in facilitating the best experience possible for our students and partnering organizations.

Nationally recognized, Illinois State University’s Professional Practice courses offer academically qualified students an opportunity to integrate classroom study with one or more semester terms of paid or unpaid internship experiences.  The classroom study is integrated in a work environment related to students’ academic and career goals.  Hundreds of organizations in the U.S. and abroad have served as learning sites over the years.
